MULTIPLE INCIDENTS covering 8 counties in norcal

MULTIPLE FIRES IN and around napa, sonoma, sutter, butte, calaveras, and nevada counties HAVE FORCED THOUSANDS TO EVACUATE FROM THEIR HOMES. EVACUATION CENTERS ARE BEING SETUP IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS. WE ARE REQUESTING SPECIFIC ITEMS TO ASSIST THESE CENTERS AND WILL PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION AS IT BECOMS AVAILABLE. donations will be delivered to those areas with the greatest needs first. CAL FIRE'S LATEST REPORT SHOWS 14 FIRES BURNING WITHIN 8 COUNTIES IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA. ESTIMATES SHOW A TOTAL OF AT LEAST 57,000 ACRES BURNED WITH DESTRUCTION OF AT LEAST 1500 STRUCTURES. STRUCTURE ASSESSMENT IS DIFFICULT AT THIS POINT AS CREWS ARE FOCUSING EFFORTS ON EVACUATING THE AREAS, AND LIKELY MORE DIRE THAN INITIAL REPORTS ARE SUGGESTING. SEVERAL EVACUATION CENTERS HAVE OPENED TO TAKE IN EVACUEES, WITH LARGE ANIMAL CENTERS BEING ESTABLISHED AS WELL.

First In Relief for Evacuees
Clayton Fire (Initial Response)
Fire season 2016 is continuing to devour portions of California, which means F.I.R.E. is continuing our operations assisting with wildfire evacuees. If anyone hears of new incidents in Northern California, please reach out to us to ensure we can offer our services to the evacuees.

Currently, FIRE is offering assistance and support to the residents of Lake county who have been affected by the Clayton Fire. If you or anyone you know has been evacuated from this incident, please feel free to reach out to us with your needs. We will do our best to help where we can.

While we do not currently have any outstanding requests, we can project a need for a variety of items that will be essential in the coming weeks.

Those items include:
Hygiene items
Drinking water
Food
Pet/animal related food/items.

Clothing, furniture, and other non-essential items have not been requested, and may not be requested for some time.

Unfortunately, we do not have a storage facility for donated items. With that in mind we are asking for monetary donations, gift card donations, or single load donations (pallets of water, large animal feed etc) that can be stored at their current locations or outside/unprotected. If you you would like to donate, or make available any items or storage space, please let us know.

We will begin updating our requested items and needs as they change over the upcoming months. We will also continue to update the list of incidents to which we are offering support.

Thank you for helping First In Relief for Evacuees support the needs of our fellow Californians during these devastating incidents.
